my deactivated friends
Hello neglected TinyLetter subscribers,
I have just again deactivated my Facebook account temporarily (I think it automatically reactivates in 7 days), so don't be alarmed if you think you aren't my friend anymore. You're just my deactivated friend, due for imminent reactivation.
Why? I have A LOT to do and Facebook is too distracting. And what exactly is it that I have to do, you ask? You didn't ask, really, but I'm going to tell you. Over the past few months, I have [REDACTED]. This is a huge and exciting opportunity, so naturally I'm sabotaging myself by finding anything else to do but read.
[REDACTED]
I've also recently bought a Thermomix (hiiii Nikki and Rory, yes I'm going to talk about the Thermomix now, BUT ONLY BRIEFLY) and I've been considering writing a blog and doing videos with the sort of content I was looking for when I was trying to decide if I wanted one. I've picked a name and bought the domain/got all the relevant social media accounts, but of course I don't want to do too much there when I could be reading Wild Cards. See also my perfume blog (which at least has enough old content that I'm happy with it staying live).
This time I didn't deactivate my Facebook Messenger, so feel free to get in touch with me there if you want to, or email me, or whatever. This note was really just a little heads up re the Facebook sitch.
