Ahhhh, mah leetle blueberries, I have left you alone for far too long, n’est-ce pas? And it has been so cold! You must have felt very lonely. Meanwhile I’ve had nothing interesting going on personally, though I did get one of my press’s: upcoming books, Greyskin by James Kinsley, up to number one in the Western Science Fiction category on Kindle thanks to kind preorders. It’s slipped down a little now, but it’s still number 1 in Hot New Titles. I’m typing this on my phone so can’t make it a link easily for some reason, but here it is raw and untamed: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/new-releases/digital-text/4542770031/ref=zg_bs_tab
Today a took a very rare sick day and actually rested. I’ve had a nagging headache for days and just a general sense of overwhelm and exhaustion. I got the children out the door and went back to bed until ELEVEN OF THE CLOCK, no joke. It was like I was reclaiming my Southern Belle birthright never to see the AM hours *after* sleep (but with far fewer cotillions and less racism).
I’m finishing up Marc Joan’s newest manuscript—an upmarket horror/psych story about a man who strikes me as a deeply unreliable narrator—and it’s so moreish. I can’t wait for you to read it. (And you shall be able to, one way or another. Plans afoot!)

Fantastic news about Marc's new one, can't wait to read it!
